Easing Back InWe are so thankful for all of the help and support! Attached below is our adjusted weekly schedule. We will follow the adjusted schedule closely this week as we begin working our way toward a full day of instruction and learning (next Monday). Next week we will begin following the complete schedule that was provided in our back to school information.
During the "blue times" on our schedule, teachers will begin having individual and group meets with your children. This week we will be working with your child to learn where we should begin instruction to meet your child's needs. Although this may look like /sound like a test from across the room, we ask that you not help your child in any way - this will not count for a grade, but simply lets us know how to tailor our instruction to fit our unique needs in our classrooms. Please look for an email from your child's teacher with more detailed information. We would like to stress how important it is for your child to attend and be punctual at their assigned time. I am prepared for class!In your child's materials bucket, please have the following ready every day:

Please keep checking DOJO and emails for the latest news. Please continue to read at home and remember that school does NOT need to last all day; first-graders can still learn a lot from playing, interacting with family members and learning new skills (cooking, baking, art, music, drama, etc. ). Please take care of yourself & stay healthy! All schools in the Wake County Public School System will be closed beginning Monday, March 16 through at least Friday, March 27. Parents: Please follow the WCPSS and CDC guidelines!
